2Step two
Shape
Squeeze a bead of PolyGel into a dual form, smooth it with the brush dipped in slip solution, and press the form onto your nail.
-
3Step three
Cure
Cure under the LED lamp, pop the form off, then file to the shape you want.

Questions, answered
How do I take it off?
File off the shine, soak a cotton pad in acetone, wrap each nail in foil for 10 to 15 minutes, then gently push the softened gel off. Never pry or peel it, which is what takes layers of your natural nail with it.
Will it damage my natural nails?
Not if you prep and remove it properly. The damage people describe usually comes from peeling a set off rather than soaking it off, or from over-filing the nail plate during prep.
Do I need a drill?
No. A hand file does everything a first set needs. A drill is faster once you have done a few sets, not a requirement.
What if my nails are short or bitten?
That is what the dual forms are for: they build length past the free edge, so short nails are fine. Very short bitten nails need a smaller form size and a lighter build.
I've never done my own nails. Can I do this?
Yes, the kit is made for a first set. PolyGel stays soft until it's cured, so you can move and smooth it with the brush as long as you need to. Expect the first set to take longer than 20 minutes and look a little less even than your fifth. Our how-to guides walk through each step.
How long does a set last?
A well-prepped set usually lasts 2 to 3 weeks before it needs a refill or a fresh set. How long yours lasts depends mostly on prep: take the shine off and keep the gel off your cuticles, and lifting is much less likely.
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship with tracking and usually arrive in 7 to 14 business days anywhere in the US. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships. Shipping is free on orders over $35 and $3.99 below that.
